David Lemel initially pursued a career in real estate in 2005 at the suggestion of a friend who was a mortgage broker who saw that Lemel was a “people person” and very good at meeting new people. “I grew up in my family business at Taft Hair and Cosmetics, where I ran a health and beauty store and salon,” he said. “My father taught me hard work and dedication, how to be the best at what you do, how to run a business and be a true profession­al in working with the public.”
