Educates clients on the market

- Cindy Puccino

When Cindy Puccino purchased her first home, she didn’t know the process, found it to be confusing and didn’t receive guidance from the Realtor or lender she was working with.

“I decided then that I wanted to become a Realtor to help first-time buyers understand the process,” Puccino states. “I felt it was important to show them the paperwork, disclosures, sales and purchase agreements, etc. that they would see when purchasing a home. I would always keep in mind how I felt not knowing the process and keep them informed each step of the way.”

For Puccino, the magnitude of the transaction is always first and foremost in her mind.

“I always remember that I am helping my clients either buying or selling with one of the most important and life changing decisions they will make,” she said. “I take great pride in their happiness.”

She makes sure to stay educated on what the market is doing in each town. She shares this information with her clients and regularly updates them on what price range is now selling in their neighborhood.

When listing a home, Puccino believes in putting the home’s best foot forward, as first impressions are vital.

“Photos are what motivates a potential buyer to decide to make an appointment to see a property,” she said. “I take the time to stage the home and offer the services of a professional photographer to help my listings stand out from others on the market.”

A Realtor since 1992, Puccino has garnered several accolades throughout her career. She has earned the Connecticut Magazine Five

Star Real Estate Agent Award, is a consistent recipient of the New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors Quarterly Production Achievement Award, has been named to the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and has been named to the RE/MAX 100% Club every year since joining the brokerage in 2000.

Puccino lives in East Haven with her husband of 20 years, Mark DeBrino. Together, they have renovated several properties in the greater New Haven area. They enjoy visiting their daughter who relocated to Florida, traveling, and are anxiously awaiting their first grandchild.
