Congregation schedules events

WOODBRIDGE — Congregation B’nai Jacob, 75 Rimmon Road, has scheduled the following:

Weekday minion services are held at 7:45 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Friday night Shabbat Schmooze begins at 6 p.m., followed by a Shabbat service 6:30 p.m.

Saturdays, a Torah study begins at 9 a.m., followed by a Torah service 9:45 a.m.

Feb. 20: A new book club will have its first meeting on Feb 20, 7:30 in the congregation library.

Feb. 23: After Kiddush 12:30 p.m. Yale professor Christine Hayes will speak on “We’re No Angels: Perfection In Rabbinic Judaism.”

March 3. Showing of movie “Marshall,” followed by discussion. Rescheduled after weather postponement.
