Pasquale L. Izzo, 78, of East Haven, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Connecticu­t Hospice. He is the husband of Anna M. Dimaggio Izzo. He was born in New Haven on May 14, 1942 to the late Joseph V. and Concetta E. Carbo Izzo Sr. He worked for 30 years for Kessler Constructi­on as a Pipe and Tank Installer, until his retirement in 2000. He then went to work at Lowes in New Haven in their Tool Department for several years, until finally retiring in 2019. In his younger days, Pat was very accomplish­ed in the martial arts. Later in life, he also found a passion for photograph­y. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter and her husband, Deborah Izzo Burdick and Wes Baldwin of East Haven, two grandchild­ren, Joseph Izzo, Jr. and Anthony Burdick, two great grandchild­ren Leah and Adriana Burdick, and last but certainly not least, his beloved Yorkie, Bella. Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by a son Joseph Izzo and two brothers, Joseph Izzo, Jr. and David Izzo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning in the Parish of St. Pio of Pietrelcin­a at St. Vincent dePaul Church, Taylor Ave., at 11 am. Friends may call at the East Haven Memorial Longobardi – Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven, 203-467-1708 prior to the mass from 9 to 10:30. Burial following the mass will be in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. There will be no procession from the funeral home to church, so if you plan on going to both the mass and calling hours, please plan on heading to church on your own.
