Faith Bolvig Elliott

Faith Bolvig Elliott, of Branford, passed away much too soon on April 15, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey on May 24, 1946, Faith was the daughter of the late William and Helen Bolvig. Faith was preceded in death by her husband John R Elliott. Faith and John were married in November 1974 in Red Bank, New Jersey. After she and John settled in Branford, Faith had a successful career at Southern New England Telephone (SNET) holding various managerial positions. While at SNET, Faith continued her education receiving an Associate in Science degree from Teikyo Post University. After retiring from SNET, Faith pursued a second successful career in sales with Dooney and Bourke. Faith was an avid reader, collecting many signed mystery books. She enjoyed meeting authors at her favorite bookstores. Faith also enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe with her friend Lynne. Trips to the casinos were another favorite of hers. Faith was a lover of animals, having several dogs and cats over the years. Her latest cat was a rescue, Cooper, who is now adapting to his new home. Faith will be missed by the many friends, near and far, she has made over the years. A celebration of her life and gathering of friends and family will take place on May 16 from 2-4 pm, at the East Haven Memorial Longobardi – Brennan Funeral Home, 425 Main St., East Haven.
