Jon Christopher Lundberg
On April 25, 2021, Jon Christopher Lundberg passed away suddenly at his home in Windham ME. He has been cremated and family will have a private service in Windham ME and a Mass at ST George Catholic Church in Guilford CT in August. He was born on December 4, 1972 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven CT to Jon L. & Millie Lundberg of Madison CT. Jon graduated from Daniel Hand High School in Madison in 1991. He played goalie on the Daniel Hand Lacrosse team. He then went onto the Bridgton Academy in North Bridgton ME for one year; it was the year that made the difference. He passed the required examinations in 1992. He was on the Bridgton Lacrosse Travelling Team. Next onto Washington College in Chestertown MD, he played on the Shoremen’s Lacrosse team all four years. He received a Liberal Arts Degree from Washington College in 1996. He returned home to Connecticut in the summers and worked for Fox Steel in Orange CT as an Ironworker. After graduation, Jon moved back to Maine where he was employed by the Bridgton Academy, he taught history and coached the Lacrosse team. He then went to work for AIG & Robert Half Insurance, next was Atlantic Sportswear. He last worked for IDEXX in Corporate Strategic Accounts. On July 4, 2004 Jon married Gretchen Ulman of Fort Fairfield ME. He is survived by Gretchen Ulman Lundberg and daughters Lily Anna & Hazel Belle of Windham, ME and his parents in Madison CT. He also has Aunts, Uncles & Cousins too numerous to name.
