Pearce’s Russell gets Land Sale Deal of the Year Award
NORTH HAVEN — Carl G. Russell, CCIM, SIOR with Pearce Real Estate, received the 2021 Land Sale Deal of the Year Award from the Certified Commercial Investment Member, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, the company said in a release.
The award was presented at the CCIM DealMaker Awards Dinner Jan. 13 at Stony Creek Brewery in Branford, by CCIM CT Chapter President Eric Amodio, it said. Russell earned the award for the July sale of a 13.26-acre parcel at 185 Plains Road in Milford, the release said, representing both the seller and the buyer.
“I was very happy to be part of this transaction since it posed several challenges with limits on zoning, restrictions that the seller had on the deed, and many years that I had the listing,” Russell said in the release.
In addition to CCIM, Russell is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, has served as an assistant adjunct professor of real estate at New York University and as past president of the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors. He can be reached at 203-783-9999, ext. 102 or at crussell@hpearce.com.
