Kevin T. Cosgrove

Kevin t Cosgrove AKA redbone age 78, long time resident of Hamden passed away peacefully on January 21, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Kevin was born on November 23, 1943 in New Haven Connecticut and was the son of the late Thomas and Catherine Callahan Cosgrove loving husband of late Donna Mae Bailey Cosgrove. He is survived by his children Tara Cosgrove Burns (Jeffrey) Shalon Cosgrove and Thomas Cosgrove. Kevin was the proud and loving grandfather of Ryan, Braden, Landen and Camren. Kevin is also survived by his siblings Kathleen Carr, Dennis (Debbie) Cosgrove, John Cosgrove and Elizabeth Cosgrove. Kevin served his country faithfully in the US army 91st airborne division medevac unit during the Vietnam war. He was the owner and operator of the Hamden pub for several years and has also worked for Connecticut Transit as operator 340. Kevin’s hobbies were spending time with friends and attending church. Kevin was friendly, kind and always putting a smile on everyone’s face. He adored his family and will be missed by all. His family wants to thank the Guilford VNA and hospice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from
