Elaine Limauro Mancini

Elaine Limauro Mancini passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Clearwater, Florida. Elaine was born and raised in New Haven, CT and was a resident there for close to ninety years. Elaine was predeceased by her loving husband Nick Mancini of 52 years.

Elaine was a strong and devoted mother who enjoyed cooking and prepared exceptional dinners for both friends and family. Holiday feasts were her specialty. She also enjoyed poker nights with the “girls.” By all accounts she was an animal lover. She especially loved cats and was rarely without at least one cat throughout her life. She spoke the feline language fluently. She was a quick witted and humorous woman who will be sorely missed.

Elaine is survived by her children Lisa ( John) Scalise, Robert (MaryEllen) Mancini and Nick (Kristina) Mancini; and her wonderful grandchildren Sara and Mallory Mancini, Chief Petty Officer Jonathan Scalise, Ryan Scalise and their sister Ariel Catullo. Elaine is also survived by her sister Coletta

Holzman and her brother Vincent Limauro.

Relatives and friends may visit with Elaine’s family Tuesday, October 18th from 9-11 am at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc., 11 Wooster Place, New Haven. Burial will immediately follow at All Saints Cemetery in North Haven.
