Nancy Piersanti January 12, 1926 - October 12, 2022

Nancy Amarante Piersanti, 96, of Guilford, beloved wife of the late Santo “Tino” Piersanti passed away peacefully after a long illness on October 12, 2022 surrounded by her family at the Guilford House. Loving mother of Lorraine (Scott) Terry of Stallings, NC, Michael (Connie) Piersanti of East Haven and Tom (Kathryn) Piersanti of Guilford. Grandmother of Christopher (Angela) Terry, Jason (Laura) Terry, Lauren (Ben) Rubino, Michaela (Jeff) Notestine and Kristina and Matthew Piersanti. Greatgrandmother of Caprielle, Britton, Cooper and Owen Terry and Madison Notestine. Sister of Andrew (Lee) Amarante of Guilford and the late Madeline Minichino, Mary Fraulo, Trifomena Esposito and John, Joseph and Frank Amarante. Nancy was born in New Haven on January 12, 1926, daughter of the late Anthony and Lucia Proto Amarante. She graduated from Commercial High School June of 1944, with high honors. She was employed by Philip L. Buxbaum Insurance Company, then in later years by Sanders, Gale and Russell Court Reporters.

Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, THURSDAY morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
