After finishing his Master’s degree he joined his father in running K.R. Robinson Company in Orange, CT. This company continued to expand and thrive under Ken’s leadership over the last three decades.

During this time, Ken met his wife, Kaye Williams, on a blind date arranged by a mutual friend. The rest, as they say, is history. They were married August 15th, 1987. The two enjoyed sailing on Long Island Sound, traveling, and gardening together throughout their marriage. Ken designed both homes where they would live and raise their children, Sean and Skylar.

During the last few years, his son joined him in the family businesses. He had a lifelong love of horses which he shared with his daughter. He remained an avid gardener, and bird watcher. He retired from sailing but retained his love of the ocean. He was a member of the Milford Yacht Club for 39 years and enjoyed dining at the club and viewing the boats. A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at the Milford Yacht Club, 131 Trumbull Ave., Milford, on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 11:00 am to 2 pm.
