Connecticut Dance

-

Connecticut Dance, under the artistic direction of Andrea Stratford, has offered high-quality dance instruction for 34 years. Conveniently located in Monroe at the intersection of routes 59 and 25, the studio hosts dancers from Monroe, Easton, Trumbull, Newtown, Bethel, Fairfield, Oxford, Stratford, and Shelton. Classes are available for ages 2 and up, and include creative dance, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap, lyrical, pointe, and modern.

Connecticut Dance is a non-competitive studio and provides the best of both worlds, as classes are available for both the recreational and the serious dancer. Dancers and families can dance for fun and enjoy classes once a week, while other dancers who plan to further pursue their love and passion for the art can be found at the studio multiple times a week.

Our graduates have gone on to dance for Division 1, college-level dance teams, and even dance professionally in New York City. Each season our dancers are featured in a professional-level recital production at the Klein Memorial Auditorium.

More important, however, is the community and family at the heart of the dance school. Dancers perform throughout the year at local charity events and fundraisers, as well as an annual showcase to raise money for local families in need.

Students rally together to plan bake sales and spirit weeks in their efforts to fundraise, and truly realize they’re a part of something much bigger and more special. During crazy hair and socks weeks, pajama weeks, Halloween parties, holiday games, and more, our dancers develop lifelong friendships.

Regardless of level, age, and ability, all students (and their families) can ultimately find a true home in Connecticut Dance. For more information, visit www. connecticutdance.com.

All of our students receive high-quality training.
