Kingswood is a family-run camp. Our 70-person staff includes 20 professional educators and has more than 700 years of camp experience. As one parent commented, “The genuine connection between staff, counselors, and campers is quite obviously the hallmark of Kingswood. The ‘family feel’ of the camp is what makes it so appealing.”
At Kingswood, we promise that “no boy will slip through the cracks.” As one parent noted, “Our favorite thing is that everyone knows our son, but more than that, they know what he enjoys and what makes him tick!”
Kingswood is located on the shore of a pristine and undeveloped lake, nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. With trails departing from our campus, the Appalachian Trail just down the road, and a lake almost all to ourselves, our setting is perfect for watersports, fishing, camping, and hiking.
The Kingswood program is dynamic. Campers are in charge of their schedule and choose from a wide variety of options every day. Sports, trips, waterfront, music and art, and much, much more.
But campers also have plenty of supervised free time to hang out with their friends.
Lamenting the hurried and pressured lives many children now live, one parent said, “When do our children ever get to be kids? I loved watching the boys play pick-up soccer, ping pong, and Frisbee golf. It seemed that the only thing stopping the boys was the ensuing darkness. I only wish the rest of our world would catch up with Kingswood and realize what a great gift it is to be a kid.”
Kingswood offers two-, three-, four-, and seven-week sessions for boys ages 8-15 starting June 23, and running through Aug. 10.
