Silver Lake Camp

Silver Lake Camp & Retreat Center in Sharon, Conn., offers summer camp experiences for young people and families, and serves as a year-round retreat center for all ages.

2024 summer camp registration is now open! Silver Lake runs one-week summer camp sessions (Sunday-Saturday) for campers entering grades 4-12, as well as part-week adult and family camp programs.

Open House: Sunday, May 19, 2024, 1-5 p.m.

Silver Lake staff and volunteers are ready to introduce you to camp! Take a walking tour, see the cabins and other buildings, find out where the Freds (bathrooms) are, and check out the ropes courses and the waterfront. A visit to Silver Lake before camp is the best way for first-time campers to know what to expect — you might even run into a new friend who will be in the same program this summer!

Established in 1957, Silver Lake Camp & Retreat Center is a year-round ministry of the Southern New England Conference of the United Church of Christ. The 60-acre campus is situated in the rolling hills of Litchfield County, and bordered by the peaceful shores of Mudge Pond in Sharon, Conn.

Silver Lake offers many opportunities to take risks, try new things, experience nature, make new friends, and explore your faith with the support of an intentional progressive Christian community. Silver Lake welcomes and affirms campers, staff, volunteers, and guests of all races, ethnicities, gender identities and expressions, and sexual orientations.
