Does your child have a passion for animals and the environment? Allow them to explore the wonders of the ocean this summer at one of The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk’s camps. Register today to reserve your camper’s spot!
“Camp at the Aquarium is a chance for kids to get up close and personal with the natural world, both inside and outside of our walls,” Camp Director Katie Farley said. “Campers participate in a variety of memorable experiences, including behind-the-scenes tours, up-close encounters with animals, visits to Calf Pasture Beach, hands-on experiments, and more!”
Camps are available for children ages 6-15 with a wide variety of interests.
Ages 6-8
● Amazing Animal Architects, featuring hands-on engineering challenges.
● Animal Investigators, featuring exciting classroom visits with animals.
● Jr. Aquarist, featuring opportunities for campers to learn about and participate in animal care.
● Shark Safari, featuring a behind-the-scenes shark feeding.
Ages 9-12
● Aquarium Stars, featuring exciting classroom visits with animals.
● Fin-Fluencers, featuring conservational topics and social media content creation.
● Jr. Field Scientist, featuring outdoor adventures and community science projects.
● Jr. Marine Biologist, featuring hands-on experiments and opportunities to care for animals.
● (NEW) Sea Turtles, Seals & More, featuring development and performance of a theatrical skit.
Ages 13-15
● Teen Apprentice, featuring hands-on learning behind the scenes with aquarium staff.
