Silvermine Art Studio Camps Join us for Silvermine Art Studio Camps June 17 through Aug. 23
LET YOUR IMAGINATION RUN WILD THIS SUMMER!
The Silvermine School of Art Summer Camps are back, offering weeklong art camps for students ages 3-6, 7-13, and 14-17!
Silvermine provides extraordinary opportunities for young children and high school students to learn from regionally- and nationally-known artists, all while meeting new friends and having fun on Silvermine’s more than four-acre campus.
With its many art studios and picturesque pond with waterfall, Silvermine’s campus and landscape views enhance the experience of attending camp. Students can sketch by the waterfall, learn a number of artistic disciplines, and enjoy a sense of camaraderie in a creative environment.
We offer art studio sessions in ceramics, drawing, painting, glass flameworking, mixed media, art and drama, photography, digital arts, comic and character development, and storyboarding for animation, to name a few. Silvermine provides young people with an opportunity to learn expression through the arts and participate in hands-on classes with their peers in one of the oldest artist communities in the country.
Camps and workshops run in one-week sessions in the mornings and afternoons for ages 3-6, 7-13, and 14-17. There is also an option to stay all day with the supervised lunch bunch for the week. The first session begins on June 17; sessions run through Aug. 23. Students can gain new skills, deepen their knowledge of technique & composition, or strengthen a portfolio for college.
