Albert (Allie) A. Capasso, Jr., passed away from Multiple Sclerosis, peacefully, at home, with family, on February 13, 2024. He was born on July 6, 1947, in New Haven, CT to the late Albert A. Capasso, Sr., and Margaret Collins Capasso. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 52 years, Rita Waldron Capasso. Albert enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after graduating from Hillhouse High School in 1965. After the Air Force, Albert became a Morgue Attendant for the VA Hospital in West Haven. He then moved on to a custodial position with the West Haven Board of Ed at Thompson School for 25 years before retiring. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Marla Capasso (Ryan Hollembaek) of West Haven, and Rose Scott (Barton) of Shelton, CT. He also leaves behind his cherished and adored grandchild­ren, Mark, Albert, and Natalie; two sisters, Donna Kennedy of Naugatuck, and Jeanne Polis of Alabama; brothers, Michael Capasso of North Branford, and Richard Capasso of Massachuse­tts.

He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predecease­d by his parents.
