Richard Huff on the best of television

“Shameless” (Showtime, Sunday, 9 p.m.) This show’s season ends tonight. The good news: the series, with a cast led by Emmy Rossum and William H. Macy, will be back next season. “Brooklyn 11223” (Oxygen, Monday, 11 p.m.) This reality tale of two former besties who stopped talking to each other over a man is scary and appealing at the same time. “The Voice” (Monday, NBC, 8 p.m.) The battle rounds are over, so now viewers get to see the live competition and guess what overrevealing getup judge Christina Aquilera will wear next. “One Tree Hill” (Wednesday, CW, 8 p.m.) The show, which launched in 2003 as a high-school drama and has gone through some story twists over nine seasons, ends this week. “Blue Bloods” (Friday, CBS, 10 p.m.) The show doesn’t get a lot of attention, but week in and week out it delivers a satisfying hour of drama. “icarly” (Nickelodeon, Saturday, 8 p.m.) Cue the screaming girls. The popular show features an appearance from the boy band One Direction. “Magic City” (Friday, Starz, 10 p.m.) The network of “Spartacus” and “Boss” returns with a sexy drama about Miami in the late ’50s. Think tough men and fast women. “Tent City” (Thursday, OWN, 8 p.m.) This documentary looks at life in a fastgrowing tent city in Nashville. “CNN Newsroom” Not the whole thing, just two hours a day between 2 and 4 p.m. when Brooke Baldwin hosts. She has made the hours her own, and has added a terrific series of music interviews to the mix. “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” (Monday, Food, 10 p.m.) It’s always a fun ride when Guy Fieri is behind the wheel.
