“Titanic” in 3-D. James Cameron’s 1997 romance, rereleased in 3-D on Wednesday, still resounds, thanks to stars Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet.

“Bully.” In theaters now, Lee Hirsch’s heartbreaking documentary — about the cruelty of kids and the ineptitude of adults — is required viewing for all ages.

“Chinatown” revisited. Roman Polanski’s 1974 neo-noir mystery earned 11 Oscar nods, including two for leads Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway. In high definition, it looks better than ever. On Bluray Tuesday.

Cindy Sherman, cinephile. In conjunction with her retrospective at MOMA, Sherman is sharing favorite films ranging from “Harlan County USA” to “The Host.”

“Being Elmo.” You don’t even have to be a fan of the furry red monster to appreciate Constance Marks’ charming biography about his creator, Kevin Clash. On DVD Tuesday.

The many sides of Seann William Scott. If you think all there is to Scott is “American Reunion’s” Stifler, check out his deadpan, oddly touching turn in the hockey dramedy “Goon.”

BFFS on the big screen. In advance of her upcoming HBO show “Girls,” Lena Dunham has programmed an ode to friendship at BAM. Titles include “Clueless” and “The Craft.”

Gertrude’s Paris. Throughout April, Symphony Space celebrates the City of Light as seen and influenced by Gertrude Stein. Today’s entry is “An American in Paris,” with Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron.

Monty Python madness. Attention all sons of silly persons: “The Holy Grail” is at the Sunshine through Thursday. And yes, you’re allowed to quote every line out loud.

Flirting with Hal Hartley. The only thing better than watching a head-spinning Hal Hartley film is getting to ask him about it yourself. See “Flirt” at the IFC Center Wednesday night, and stay for the Q&A.
