A BATTY Brooklyn drifter known for his public diatribes is charged with sexually harassing young girls in their schoolyard, the Daily News has learned.

Lawrence Ladouceur — dubbed the Bedford Ranter by Williamsburg locals — allegedly accosted six tween students on three occasions last month.

He’s accused of approaching a 12-year-old outside Middle School 577 on April 20, telling her, “I’m going to rape you,” then walking away.

Four days later, standing outside the school fence, he allegedly tried to grab four girls in the yard during recess, touching them on their shoulders and backs.

He also said to one of the children: “Wait for me after school,” according to court papers.

About an hour later, police said, the lanky 6-foot-9 menace told an 11-year-old, “If you have sex with me, I would love you more and make my parents proud.” The frightened girls told their parents, who alerted cops.

All victims identified Ladouceur, 62, in a photo array, and he was nabbed a week ago on misdemeanor charges of harassment and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

He was ordered Thursday to undergo a psychiatric examination.

His lawyer did not return a request for comment.

Ladouceur, who has at least 20 prior arrests, is a fixture in the trendy neighborhood, admired and despised for his antics, which include raving and yelling in the middle of busy Bedford St. traffic.
