Social Enterprise and Creative Practice 101, co-presented by The Laundromat Project, New York Foundation for the Arts Immigrant Artist Project and Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance, will be held at Word Up Community Bookshop, 4157 Broadway, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.

In this mini-workshop, participants will explore the way social enterprise has been defined and engage with concepts and tools they can apply to their own ventures.

A question-and-answer session will follow. Open to artists engaged or interested in social change initiatives.
