What’s your next hottest nabe in NYC? Cobble Hill and Bushwick. Cobble Hill because of the access to outstanding schools, parks, a host of new and exciting retail on Court Street and beautiful treelined, landmarked streets. The lack of inventory in the townhouse market and the overflow from Brooklyn Heights is starting to put significant upward pressure on pricing. Bushwick is on the tip of everyone’s tongue because of an exploding art scene and some well-noted restaurant reviews. What’s the biggest mistake buyers make when looking for a home? Not being open-minded enough to look at all the different types of properties on the market in an area. You will never know if you would like to live somewhere without going to see the property first. I see too many buyers rule out visiting a property for so many reasons that are irrelevant. Personal motto or favorite saying? The day you think you are the best in this business could be your last day being successful if you don’t keep working hard. Favorite room in your own house? I love my living room. We have this 10-by-20 domed skylight that lets in amazing natural

light and a 40-foot-long Rental at 525 Clinton, near the Atlantic Yard Development, brokered by Maundrell (inset) exposed brick wall we highlight with directional lighting that acts almost like a piece of art. If you could be a building in NYC which would it be? I’d have to say One World Trade, which is under construction. The building symbolizes so many things, being the tallest in NYC. Yet, I see this building every day and it is a reminder to me of the horrible events of 9/11 and how this city and country overcame that day. The building should be a symbol of how special this country is when we stick together and care for each other.
