REMAIN IN EFFECT. WEEKLY TRAFFIC FORECAST President Obama is back for some fund-raising on the west side of the Big Apple Wednesday! He flies into JFK at 6 p.m., where he’ll take his usual helicopter ride to the Wall St. heliport, and his motorcade will head north on the FDR approximately 6:30 p.m. shutting it down below 65th St., then use the 65th St. transverse to the West Side, where his first stop is approximately 7 p.m. at Alice Tully Hall (a hoops event hosted by Michael Jordan) on 65th St. between Broadway and Amsterdam. Around 9 p.m., the President will head to the Time Warner Building (Columbus Circle) for a fund-raising dinner until 10 p.m. when he'll head back to the East Side using the 65th St. transverse back to the FDR — which will be shut down below 65th St. between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m., and back to the Wall St. helipad. Wheels up at JFK approximately 11 p.m.

On Sunday, a parade closes Madison Ave. between 27th and 38th Sts. from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.; its festival closes Madison Ave. between 23rd and 27th Sts. from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Another festival closes Madison Ave. between 42nd and 55th Sts. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Also Sunday, street fair closes Fulton St. between Water and Gold Sts. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Weekend Walks closes Shore Blvd. in Astoria between Astoria Park South and Ditmars Blvd. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On Saturday, a festival closes Lexington Ave. between 42nd and 57th Sts. from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. From the mailbag: Dear Gridlock Sam, I received a ticket; however, the color of my car on the ticket was wrong. I mailed my appeal along with my registration. It was denied. Do I have recourse?
Larry, New York Dear Larry, No. In order for it to be a defective ticket, there must be missing information that is required for it to be a valid ticket. Maybe your black car looks dark green.
