Cameras need to be candid

SAFETY ANTREL Rolle told WFAN his cut and bruised knee is “getting better” and he plans on testing it at practice on Wednesday afternoon. He also agreed with Tom Coughlin that the NFL needs to move photographers away from the sidelines to avoid near-disastrous collisions like the one on which he injured his knee on Thursday night.

“And I’m not just saying that because of my incident, I’m saying it because in the end zone, a lot of plays go out that way,” Rolle said. “And if those guys aren’t going to be as alert as they should be, then maybe they need to back up a few steps and allow players to play within their reach.”

BRADSHAW BACK

The Giants had the NFL’s worst rushing attack last year, but this year they rank 16th with an average of 100.3 yards per game — including 109.5 per game in their two wins the last two weeks. A lot of that has to do with Andre Brown, who has been terrific since Ahmad Bradshaw got hurt. But Bradshaw has been cleared to return to practice after missing last Thursday night with a sprained neck, and he told ESPN Radio on Tuesday “I guarantee I’ll be out there” against the Eagles. He apparently will get his old starting job back, too, sending Brown to the bench.

“I don’t expect anything different,” Bradshaw said. “I don’t know what the game plan for the Giants with me and Andre is yet, but I just plan to go out and run the ball like we’ve been doing.

“I’ll still have the same role I’ve had since (before) I got hurt.”
