First Lady Michelle Obama chatted with hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan on “Live with Kelly and Michael” on Friday. EVEN HEALTHY LIVING advocate Michelle Obama sometimes indulges in junk food and junk TV.

The First Lady confessed that “French fries” and the “Real Housewives” are her guilty pleasures during an appearance on ABC’s “Live with Kelly and Michael” that aired Friday morning.

Obama good naturedly answered a “lightning round” of questions about everything from what’s inside her purse to what’s under her husband’s suit.

“Oh boy. Please forgive me,” co-host Michael Strahan began as he launched into the most revealing question. “For the President, do you prefer boxers or briefs?”

“Um, none of the above,” Obama blurted, flashing an embarrassed grin.

“No, I’m just kidding,” she quickly protested as the audience cheered.

When Kelly Ripa asked about her purse, the First Lady admitted it’s purely decorative. Her aides serve as human handbags.

“There’s nothing in my purse. I get teased for having a purse with nothing in it. As First Lady — no money, no keys, nothing. I look to 22-year-olds for my life,” she said. “I have to find stuff to put in my purse."

Obama was also quizzed on her pet names for the President, although she censored herself after “honey.”

“I’m trying to think of the ones I’m gonna say out loud,” she said.

Favorite reality show? Obama hesitated before sheepishly making her confession: “I do love a little ‘ Real Housewives’ every now and then.”

The morning show chatter took only a slightly more serious turn when Obama confessed to getting jitters when her husband’s on the debate stage.

“I compared it to the Olympic parents watching their kids on that balance beam,” Obama said, as she mimed flinching and squirming. “It’s lots of clenching.”

“They really caution you to be quiet, and I try to follow the rules so I don’t get in trouble,” she added.

President Obama got harsh ratings in his first match-up against Romney, but received better reviews for his second performance.

But the First Lady declined to add her own critique to the mix.

“I am always proud of my husband,” she said.

During the lightning round, however, she offered one area where the President needs more work: the dance floor. “He can sing and I can dance,” she said.
