Lilo risks being out on her OWN
IT SEEMS NOT EVEN Oprah will be able to save LiLo’s lost soul.
Lindsay Lohan has delayed filming of her reality series on Winfrey’s (below) OWN cable network. The show chronicles the train-wreck movie star’s alleged road to recovery. Now producers have raised concerns that the show won’t be completed on schedule, sources tell Confidenti@l.
The “Herbie Fully Loaded” actress signed on for the eight-part reality show after leaving rehab in August, but we hear she has been difficult to work with.
“She never does what she says she is going to do. She cancels all the time and is highly erratic,” says our production source.
“It has been frustrating to work on this project from the start,” says our insider. “It’s all about Lindsay (r.), and it is clear she has no respect for the crew.”
LiLo granted her first interview to Oprah in August, just days after being discharged from Cliffside Malibu, a ritzy drug and alcohol rehab facility known for catering to the rich and famous.
A major element of Oprah’s big get included a reported deal worth about $2 million for LiLo to star in the uplifting reality series.
Word of the show’s woes come on the heels of news that the actress’ laptop was stolen in China. There have been reports that she had stored nude pictures of herself on its hard drive.
“It was great to be in China, and I want to thank everyone for their hospitality, however someone has stolen my computer at the airport,” she tweeted. Lohan said she was prepared to pay “whatever it takes” to get the computer back. “It is sick that it was stolen,” dad Michael Lo
han told Confidenti@l. “Hopefully someone will return it. Who doesn’t have naked pictures on their computer?”
It is just the latest setback for Lohan as she struggles to rebuild her career and stay sober.
We revealed in October that Lohan was spied partying into the wee hours at a downtown karaoke bar. The same month we published an exclusive photo that appeared to show her reaching for a bottle of wine at a friend’s home in the Hollywood Hills.
At the time, Lohan claimed she was actually reaching for her purse and cell phone — not a bottle of booze.
A rep for OWN said last night, “Lindsay continues with production.”
