Biz pal of slain landlord hiding

THE FRIGHTENED former business partner of a landlord who was abducted and killed in Brooklyn last week is in hiding with round-the-clock security, while cops are moving closer to identifying the van the kidnappers escaped in, sources said.

Menachem Stark’s charred corpse was found Saturday in a Dumpster in Great Neck, L.I.

“We are getting a lot of evidence and additional video and getting a lot of information regarding the dealings of the victim and his partners. It’s a complex investigation,” said Police Commissioner Bill Bratton.

Investigators have tracked down more video of the van with Ohio plates that was used to snatch Stark.

Sources said among the leads the investigators are running down is a car rental company with offices in Borough Park and Park Slope that’s popular in the Hasidic community and has vehicles with Ohio plates.
