Size matters

Bayonne, N.J.: As a lifelong Hudson County Democrat, I find myself disturbed by your front page headline on Jan. 9 (“Fat chance now, Chris”). Christie admittedly has weight issues — like half the country, myself included. But for you to draw attention to that in a back-handed manner was wrong. You should have been more creative — like “Hit the road, Chris,” or “Life in the not-so-fast lane,” or “Bridge over troubled waters,” or even “Exit stage right.” Remember, it does not cost anything to be kind.
