Lindenhurst, L.I.: When Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, due to negligence, allowed an ambassador and three other patriots to die, your paper barely mentioned it. When former Defense Secretary Bill Gates said Hillary disapproved of the surge in Iraq for purely political reasons, not a peep from The News. But when Gov. Christie’s aides allowed a traffic jam to form on the Jersey side of the Washington Bridge in payback to the mayor of Fort Lee, it’s front-page news. Your slip is showing. Great journalism.
