Former NYC Renter Finds Road to Homeownership at The M

-

Ms. Baretz had been renting an apartment on 22nd Street in Gramercy, but knew she wanted to move out of Manhattan and begin enjoying the many advantages of ownership. The first-time homebuyer set her sights on New Jersey’s Hudson River “Gold Coast,” but soon she expanded her search northward into Bergen County which provides an extremely fast commute into New York City via the George Washington Bridge. Her search would end just miles from Manhattan off Route 4 in Englewood when she luckily drove by and spotted The M at Englewood South, a collection of upscale one-and twobedroom condominiums.

The homes themselves had dramatic appeal to Ms. Baretz who was looking to upgrade from the limited space of a Manhattan apartment. The draw of The M at Englewood South extended even further for Ms. Baretz: The M’s amenities, including a pool, resident’s clubroom with catering kitchen and parking garage, was over and above.

Homes at The M at Englewood South range from 755 to 1,500 square feet of living space and feature open living space, sumptuous bedrooms, stateof-the-art kitchens with maple cabinetry, under-counter lighting and granite countertops; large laundry areas with side-by-side General Electric washers and dryers, large walk-in closets and most with powder rooms. There’s also oak hardwood flooring throughout the living area and ceramic tile flooring in the entry hall and kitchen.

Two popular buyer incentives are now being offered. Among the limited time incentives currently available at the offering of 125 condominiums are: A Fall incentive that provides up to $30,000 in savings. The offer provides significant savings and combines with already affordable condominium pricing from just $298,000.

The M at Englewood South is also now offering 90% financing which requires the homebuyer to only provide a 10% percent down payment.

In addition to the location, homes and onsite recreational and social amenities, residents receive a one year membership at The Gym, a 40,000 SF state-of-the-art fitness center located nearby at 20 Nordhoff Place.

The community is also a commuter’s dream. The M is minutes from Route 4 with access to the George Washington Bridge and just 12 miles to Manhattan. A parking space is included in the purchase price in The M’s enclosed parking garage. For those wishing to use public transportation, shuttle service is provided from the community to the nearby NJ Transit bus stop which offers convenient service into New York City.
