Stab slay at Harlem food mart

A WORKER at the Fairway in Harlem fatally stabbed a colleague ue Saturday after a fight broke out ut near the grocery store, police said. .

The two employees were work- ing in a storage area across the street from the 12th Ave. upscale supermarke­t when they got into a ferocious fight.

The dispute between the workers, who another employee said had been “good friends,” ” spilled out into the storage area’s a’s parking lot, next to the Hudson on River Cafe, where one co-worker er stabbed the other in the left side of his stomach about 1:45 p.m.

“They both came out of the e warehouse arguing,” a witness s who declined to be named said.

“One of the guys said, ‘What is it that you want? What is it that you f-----g want?’ He pulled out a knife and he just stabbed him.”

The victim, a 22-year-old Bronx man who was not immedi- ately identified, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he died.

His crazed assailant jumped innto his silver Infiniti and sped off, ff, cops said. Police know his identity and are searching for him.

“They were good friends,” said a co-worker who declined to give his name. “They laughed and joked together. . . . They got their coffee together.”

A worker at the cafe called the victim and killer “nice kids.”

“They’re hardworkin­g kids,” he said.
