THROUGH A GLASS, NOSTALGICALLY
I dreamt I was given a pair of glasses. I was riding a bicycle in some really run-down neighborhoods in New York City. When I put the glasses on, I was able to see what those areas looked like decades ago. Broken, run-down buildings were instantly restored; the bronze on them turned from their current green to their former glory and shiny grandeur again. Cars were transformed to the classic cars of the ’50s and ’60s. What does this dream mean?

Analysis: In this self-assessment dream, you are given glasses that transform and clarify the situation; transitions are duly noted: What needs fixing is fixed or remedied. On some level, you may perceive yourself to be broken or run down and in need of self-improvement. In this view, the intent of the wistful wish to go back in time and bring back yesterday is more than nostalgic — it is restorative in nature. You wish for your former glory, to be shiny again, new or reborn.
LOOKING FOR THE THRILL OF A LIFETIME
I’ve had these recurring dreams on a regular basis where I’m in a theme park. I’m either looking for an attraction, or I am on one of the rides. Sometimes I am about to walk into a haunted house, the type where people chase you and scare you. If I am inside the haunted house, I take a shortcut to leave before I get to the end. Please let me know what these dreams mean.

Analysis: Quite literally, these dreams reveal the need for an attraction in life. You are looking for something to grab your attention. This is the pull of the haunted house. In this view, being scared or being chased is welcomed as a break from the humdrum and the ordinary. Leaving before you get to the end of the haunted house experience reveals the need to keep alive the climactic moment. LET LAUREN INTERPRET YOUR DREAM!
