A 32-YEAR-OLD New Yorker has vanished during a motorcycle trip through a crime-ridden swath of Mexico.

Harry Devert has not been heard from since Jan. 25, when he texted his girlfriend that he had been escorted “out of some area it was too dangerous for me to be” in.

“Gonna get back on the road soon,” the Pelham, Westchester County, native added in the message. “Apparently there’s another military escort waiting for me in some other town. . . . I’m running way late because of the crazy military stuff ... hopefully get a chance to talk to you tonight when I (hopefully) finally arrive.”

His worried family and friends have set up a “Help Find Harry” Facebook page in the hopes of tracking down the missing former financial trader.

Devert (inset), who had already traveled on a five-year trip around the world, had started his latest journey from New York City. He had been riding for 44 days when he last checked in at Uriangato, Mexico, on his Instagram account.

Devert, who is 6 feet tall, weighs 180 pounds and has brown hair and eyes, was on his way to Zihuatanejo. He planned to visit the beach where the final scene of the movie “The Shawshank Redemption” was filmed.

The State Department advises travelers headed to Zihuatanejo to journey by air only.

U.S. citizens have fallen victim to kidnappings, carjackings and robberies in the area, the department warns.

Devert’s family said there has been no activity on his debit card and his phone is no longer in service.

“My son is a great communicator and he always lets me know — because I’m anxious — as close as he can where he’s going to be or if he’s going to be out of touch,” his mother, Ann Devert, told CNN.

His girlfriend, Sarah Schiear, called him “the most tremendous person I’ve ever met” on the Facebook page.

He is “so full of life and love, and he cannot help but affect every person he comes into contact with,” she wrote.

“Please, I ask that everyone put all of your efforts and energy into a positive place. Let us smile, let us put as much positive energy into the universe to tell it that we are ready for Harry to return.”
