MORE THAN 300 women men busted a move Saturday, vying to become Brooklyn Nets ets dancers.

By the end of the four-hour ur Brooklynet­tes tryout at Long ng Island University, contestant­s ts were either smiling or frownning, depending on whether er they made the cut of 40 invit- ed to the next round.

“I’ve been tr ying hard. d. I’ve been practicing for a long ng time,” said Madeleine Camaacho, 25, an accountant from m South Brunswick, N.J., who o was among those inv ited d back for the second round of f tryouts Sunday.

C a rly Ha r per, 2 3, t he daughter of former Jets runnning back Bruce Harper, also lso made the cut and was deterermin­ed to make the squad after er getting to the third round of tryouts last year.

“It’s a lot of hard work,” ” said Harper of Bergen Coun- ty, N.J. “It was exciting when n my number was called.”

Members of the squad from om last season also have to try out. ut.

While LIU student Brenda nda Pena, 19, of Clifton, N.J., failed led to make the cut, she said she’s he’s motivated to try again next year. ear.

“The nerves came in,” Pena ena said of getting bounced. “I feel like t his is something gI I can do,” Pena said. “I’m not discourage­d.”
