RUSTY STAUB

For continuing to be the heart and soul of the New York Police & Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund. The organization, which Staub founded, held its annual Game & Family day before last Tuesday’s A’sMets tilt at Citi Field. Staub reached out and started this effort 30 years ago. In doing so he not only has he provided financial aid — raising over $150 million — but has been a source of comfort for those left alone in the wake of tragedy. Le Grand Orange, indeed.
