A 10- YEAR- OLD boy and a 25- year- old man were hospitalized Saturday they were shot in Coney Island, authorities said.

Paramedics rushed both victims — who were not together when they were hit — to Lutheran Medical Center with nonlifethreatening injuries, cops said.

The mayhem began about 7: 20 p. m. when the gunman opened fire outside a deli on Mermaid Ave. near W. 24th St. — two blocks from the Boardwalk. The child, identified as Eddie Abdelrahaman, was hit in the knee, family members said at the hospital.

“He was going to the store,” his older brother Ahmed Abdelrahaman told the Daily News. “He had nothing to do with it.”

Eddie’s uncle Abdalla was outraged.

“It's terrible and it’s unbelievable,” the 50- year- old said. “Kids are not innocent or safe anymore ... The police have to step up their patrol.”
