An FBI report issued earlier this year concluded thatt the frequency of U.S. mass sho shootings more than doubled betw tween 2000 and 2013.

There were roughly six attacks p per year between 2000-2006. From 2 2007-2013, there were almost 16 an annually.

A total of 1,043 people were killed an and wounded in 160 “active shooter incidents” over the 13-year period.

Roughly 25% of the incidents took place in schools.
