‘SLOWLY CREEPING BACK’

Edward Franco was pleased when a NYCHA crew came e to his apartment inn the Red Hook West

Houses in Brooklynn to rid his bathroom m of mold.

“They did come and remove it,” said d Franco, 59, who has lived in the Brooklyn housing development since 1990. “They sent a team over there, they scrubbed everything down. They did everything.”

But not long after, Franco began experiencing a feeling of déjà vu that turned out to be all too real.

“Now it’s slowly creeping back,” he said. “Slowly, but surely.” And it’s spreading to his bedroom. “I just find it hard to breathe sometimes,” Franco said.
