- By George Kim of Caffe Bene, multiple locations, Caffebeneusa.com

Do you want to build a snowman? Now you can without getting frostbite.

Caffe Bene latte artist George Kim brings a winter wonderland to your piping hot latte by using steamed milk and a steady hand. Expert photo tip: “Use a small, pointed utensil, such as a toothpick when creating the design in your latte to perfect smaller details,” says Kim. For the Latte:

1. Extract one shot of espresso for about 25 to 30 seconds 2. Add the shot of espresso into the cup 3. Steam the milk 4. Add the steamed milk to the edge of the cup. Making Frosty the Joe Man Latte Art: 1. When 40% of the milk is added to the cup, pour the steamed milk into the middle of the coffee.

2. Once a circle is formed, create another circle on top of the first circle. (Slightly shake the pitcher from left to right to make better circle.)

3. Once you have the shape of the snowman, use a pin to draw the face and snowflakes around the snowman.
