‘Ecstatic’ as li’l Silas joins him and Jessica
FOR THE foreseeable future there will be a little bouncing Timberlake cooing, laughing — and crying me a river.
Pop star Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel are the proud parents of a baby boy. Silas Randall is the couple’s first child. The baby’s first name comes from the middle name of Timberlake’s maternal grandfather, Bill Bornar, who died in 2012.
Representatives for the couple told People magazine that the mom and new baby were doing well. The superstar dad is “ecstatic,” the sources said.
No word on whether Timberlake has purchased a tiny suit and tie for baby Silas.
News reports first surfaced in November that Biel, 33, was expecting. The “7th Heaven” star stepped outside several times wearing loose-fitting clothing. And they finally went public with their baby news two months later when Timberlake posted an Instagram photo of himself kissing his wife’s baby bump on his 34th birthday.
“This year, I'm getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT,” he wrote.
The “SexyBack” singer doted lovingly on his pregnant wife in the months that followed, including making a surprise WIREIMAGE visit to Biel on her New Orleans film set in February.
He also gave his wife a social media shoutout on her birthday last month, calling her the “the sweetest, most GORGEOUS, goofiest, most BAD-ASS chick I know.”
A few weeks later, he gushed again about the mom-to-be while accepting the Innovator Award at the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
“Jessica, honey, I can’t wait to see you and our greatest creation yet,” the singer said during his acceptance speech.
“Don’t worry, daddy is about to head home right now and learn how to innovate ways to change poopy diapers and get my swaddle
on!”
