Six getting honors for serving city

SIX CITY workers have won Sloan Public Service Awards.

The honorees will be recognized in a Tuesday ceremony at Cooper Union and will each receive a $10,000 cash prize from the Fund for the City of New York.

The winners are: Caroline Bragdon of the Health Department, who works with residents and community leaders to reduce the rodent population. Michael Johnson, a maintenanc­e supervisor who oversees 2,500 units at several NYCHA properties. Roxana Benavides, neighborho­od library supervisor for the Sunset Park Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library. Charles Gili Sr., chief of operations in Brooklyn for the Parks Department. Marsha Kellam, Queens borough commission­er at the city Administra­tion for Children’s Services. Stephen O’Brien, director of food and menu management at the Education Department.
