Truly defective

Indio, Calif.: Vilifying Vince Vaughn for advocating guns in schools is so typical of the media’s uninformed liberal thinking (“Vaughn: Guns should be allowed in schools,” NYDailyNews.com, June 1). Look at the Israeli school system, where most teachers are armed. For a country that literally lives under the gun, they have had far fewer shooting incidents in their schools. With 60 million or more U.S. gun owners, it is impossible to ban guns. As the liberals demand we not judge all Muslims by the acts of a few lunatics, it’s apparently OK to judge all gun owners by the acts of a few lunatics. Matt Bellina
