HE KARDASHIAN-JENNER CLAN is keeping two more secrets. Just one day after Caitlyn
Jenner’s stunning Vanity Fair cover, a well-placed source tells Confidenti@l that Kim Kardashian is confiding to her inner circle that she’s now pregnant with twins.
“Kim has told a handful of people that she had in vitro and that two eggs were fertilized. She is waiting to see if they both ‘stick’ before she makes any kind of announcement,” says our source. “She has to wait and see if they are both OK. And she is waiting to get an OK from her doctor that both the fertilized eggs are healthy.”
We’re told the only people who know that Kim is currently carrying twins are her mom, sisters and husband Kanye West.
It is uncertain if both embryos will be viable for a full pregnancy, and Kim, 34, is waiting it out to see.
Kim’s struggles with fertility were well documented on this past season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” including discussion of a failed in vitro attempt. On the final episode of the 10th season Sunday, the reality star, exhausted from trying to conceive, said she was “over it.” A trailer after Sunday’s episode showed Kim announcing to Khloe, “I just got the blood test back, and I’m pregnant!”
A media insider tells us Kim wants Caitlyn to have her moment, and is lying low about her pregnancy for now. She is also planning to be seen with Caitlyn very soon, adds the second source, saying, “They’re planning a family outing that’s going to be ‘accidentally’ filmed by the paparazzi.”
“They’re talking about doing it in New York and not L.A. Kris is reluctant to take part in it.”
On Tuesday, Kardashian made a promotional appearance in Nashville for Hype Energy drinks. Before she hit the carpet, a minion was dispatched to alert reporters that Kardashian didn’t want to discuss Caitlyn.
However, she spilled to Confidenti@l that she had spoken to Jenner since the big reveal, but when we pressed her on how the Olympian felt about the cover, she shut us down, saying, “I don’t want to talk about the details.”
That wasn’t the end of the stern demands to journalists. Upon arrival, members of the press were told by event staff that the reality star wanted to be addressed as Mrs. West, rather than the more familiar Mrs. Kardashian.
She also explained that she’s suffering with laryngitis, but can’t take antibiotics because of the pregnancy, and added that she plans to take a week off in L.A. to recover.
