Hot online pics dish out sweet revenge to exes

Living well used to be the best form of revenge — but that was before social media. Now, there’s no fun in getting over an ex unless everyone knows about it — especially the ex. The latest example came from Kourtney Kardashian’s Twitter feed, when the reality TV starlet posted a photo of herself looking hot and not very bothered in a white miniskirt — a clear message to her ex, Scott Disick,

that she wasn’t pining away for him.

Other celebs — Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger and Selena Gomez especially — have played the revenge game. But New Yorkers are saying it’s not only for the A-list.

Jordan Lorrius, 28, of Williamsburg, broke up with his girlfriend and promptly posted a photo on Facebook with three beautiful women kissing him in a club. “I felt like it would make me happy and make her unhappy that I was this happy,” Lorrius says unapologetically.

Bouncing back from a breakup is as old a concept as love itself. “When people break up, they often feel one was the winner and one was the loser,” says Joseph Burgo, a clinical psychologist. “To be rejected is incredibly wounding, and people recover by making ourselves look fabulous.

“How many of us have fantasized about showing up at the same party as an ex, but having a fabulous new date on our arms?” he adds. “The impulse is to try and show I am not a loser. I am actually a winner and look at me.”

Most people know how manipulative they’re being with the “#livingthedream” posts — they just don’t care.

“I (did it to say), ‘Can you see I’m so happy without you?’ ” says Alicia Ordonez, 24, who posted photos of herself having fun — including one of her curvy body thisclose to a male friend whom her ex detested.

It’s all about showing off the new freedom. “I wanted to show her that I was better off without her,” says Bronx student Jason Colo, 19, who loaded Instagram photos of himself in cool places to make his ex-girlfriend jealous. “I felt a little prideful. I wanted to see her reaction to it.”

You don’t need a shrink to tell you that Britney Spears did the same thing. After her break from Charlie Ebersol, Spears put on a skimpy yellow bikini and pressed her ample bosom close to a hot guy on a boat, adding the caption, “So nice to be home! Nothing like Louisiana boys.”

And when Gomez and her one-named producer boyfriend Zedd split, she too did the bikini-and-shorts-on-a-boat trick. The extra knife twist? Gomez snuggled with HitBoy, a rival music producer of her ex’s.

Celebrities may take to yachts, but revenge can be had at the bowling alley, as student Brianna Hamilton, 20, discovered when she posted video of herself at the lanes with her new boyfriend.

“Bowling was my ex’s favorite thing,” she said.
