Flambéaux,” a Caribbean musical set during the intoxicati­ng early years of Trinidad and Tobago’s carnival celebratio­n comes to stages in Manhattan and Brooklyn, starring Broadway star J. Bernard Calloway (below) known for the Tony Award-winning Broadway shows “All The Way” and “Memphis.”

The musical can be seen in Brooklyn at St. Francis College at 180 Remsen St. in Brooklyn Heights on Aug. 22 and 23. And the Poet’s Den Theater and Gallery at 309 E. 108th St. will host the show from Aug. 25-31.

“Imagine that, we have J. Bernard! Flambeaux is, perhaps, that proverbial little engine,” said Nandi Keyi ,who wrote the musical described as a moving “front porch drama of human relationsh­ips” in which “all must fight for relevance, home and peace.”

Walk or run for good cause

Whether running or walking is your speed, there’s something for health enthusiast­s of all ages at the Sons and Daughters of Jamaica’s 5K Run/Walk on Aug. 23 in Brooklyn. The annual event begins at 9 a.m. from Prospect Park’s East Circle in Brooklyn, according to organizati­on president and founder Jose Richards.

Fox to host fund-raiser

The Queens-based Indo-Caribbean Alliance’s 2015 gala – an annual fund-raiser for the nonprofit group’s community outreach and educationa­l programs – will be hosted by Guyanaborn actress and entreprene­ur Rhona Fox.

Under the theme “Unanchored,” the affair will be held Sept. 12 at the World’s Fair Marina in Flushing, Queens, from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Film debut at Kinanm Lounge

The Brooklyn premiere of the film “Forever Yours” will take place tonight in the Kinanm Lounge at 856 Atlantic Ave. (between Vanderbilt and Underhill Aves.) at 6 p.m., according to the Haitian-American production company UNIMIX Films.

Writer/director Patrick Ulysse and the romantic comedy’s cast and crew are scheduled to attend the debut of the film, which was shot throughout New York City and features a mostly Haitian-American cast. “Forever Yours” soundtrack has music from Belo, Papa Jube, Emeline Michel, Faro, Obed Jean Louis and other performers.
