Donald tweets Nazi hate
DONALD TRUMP had a message for his followers Friday — from a neo-Nazi sympathizer.
The Republican presidential candidate retweeted a tweet to his nearly 6 million followers from a user with the handle @WhiteGenocideTM.
The tweet featured a photoshopped picture of a ragged-looking former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush holding a “vote for Trump” sign outside of Trump Tower.
The name attached to the profile was listed as Donald Trumpovitz, and the location of the user was “Jewmerica.”
The account includes anti-Semitic imagery, quotes from Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels and tweets deriding Martin Luther King Jr. Another photoshop creation depicts Trump, in a Nazi uniform, forcing Jewish Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders into a gas chamber.
The profile also listed a link to a website promoting a biographical documentary of Adolf Hitler.
Trump’s decision to share the hateful user’s message was met with disgust on Twitter.
“White genocide folks are Nazis. Trump’s transformation into Hitler is complete,” rapper Talib Kweli wrote in response.
Calls for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S. and plans for a wall along the Mexican border have been focal points of the Trump campaign. The race-baiting rhetoric has made him a popular figure among white supremacist groups.
Last week, one such group, the American Freedom Party, said it had placed thousands of automated phone calls in Iowa urging voters to support Trump because “we don’t need Muslims.”
