8 years in jail for store rob and car chase
A PAROLEE convicted of robbing a 7-Eleven in Queens with a shotgun and leading cops on a high-speed chase before crashing into another grocery store was sentenced Monday to eight years and nine months in prison.
Lorenzo McAllister, who had two prior convictions for sticking up convenience stores, had been released from state prison only six months before pulling the 7-Eleven heist on Northern Blvd. in Flushing on Sept. 16, 2014.
His crew made off with $304 in cash, lottery tickets and the 7-Eleven owner’s Coach purse before cops spotted their getaway car fleeing the scene. The chase reached speeds of up to 120 mph before the robbers plowed into a store in Fresh Meadows.
McAllister, 33, suffered a broken hip in the crackup.
