‘Psycho’ between his legs

-

HUNKY BENJAMIN WALKER will put his moneymaker to use on Broadway in “American Psycho,” judging by a press preview for the musical based on Brett Easton Ellis’ savage novel.

During the opening number by “Spring Awakening” Tony winner Duncan Sheik, Walker straddled a spectator in the front row and shook what his mama gave him.

All in a day’s work for the 33-year-old rising star and his trim midsection, which is featured in the poster for r the show launching March 24. “It’s always that part of my body or my butt up there,” said Walker (photo inset). “I’m slowly moving up. Maybe in the next couple years, they’ll show my face.” Walker, who was once married to Meryl Streep’s daughter Mamie

Gummer, comes to the role of serial killer Patrick Bateman as his romantic flick “The Choice,” based on a Nicholas Sparks story, is in city multiplexes.

“It’s kind of ridiculous to go from puppies and kissing in the rain to singing and murder,” Walker told the Daily News’ Joe Dziemianowicz. The Georgia-raised actor, who lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, said it’s easy to channel Bateman.

“The horrible truth is that there’s a little Patrick Bateman in everyone,” he said. “Everybody’s had that moment where they’re stuck in traffic when you say horrible things under your breath because nobody can hear you. The difference is that Patrick doesn’t have the filter that the rest of us do. Thank God for that.”
