RABBIT REDUX

Now everyone’s a happy bunny. Last month, Confidenti@l reported on a battle between one of New York’s most respected taverns, the Dead Rabbit, and a pair of Icelandic bar owners who planned to open a watering hole with the same name in Reykjavik. Now the would-be pretenders tell us they have backed off and will call their place the Drunk Rabbit instead. “Even though we have (every) right to use the other name, we don’t want to disturb the bar world too much,” owner Omar Ingimarsson tells us.
