A SADISTIC Staten Island babysitter sexually abused and savagely killed a 16-month-old boy during a drug-fueled 48-hour torture session, authorities said Wednesday.

Pill-popping schizophrenic Gloria Fields, 31, confessed to the killing of Anthony Delgado after initially claiming the toddler simply fell while playing in a park, sources said.

The helpless child was instead subjected to two straight days of abuse that left him with multiple skull fractures, a fractured clavicle, perforated intestines and internal bleeding, prosecutors charged.

The demented, drug-addled Fields also inserted a pencil into the child’s rectum, leaving it there for at least 36 hours, according to prosecutors.

“For 48 hours, this depraved woman systematically tortured a 16-month-old baby,” said Staten Island District Attorney Michael McMahon.

“No creature on this Earth, let alone an innocent child, deserves to undergo such horrific torment,” he said.

The Daily News previously reported the child was bleeding from the rectum when his body was found this past Sunday night.

Authorities said that Fields, whose admission to the crime was videotaped, used heroin multiple times while watching the little boy — and smoked marijuana as well over the weekend.

The suspect’s hands were cuffed and her dyed-pink hair in braids when she declared her innocence during a Wednesday perp walk.

“No, I didn’t,” she said outside the 120th Precinct stationhouse. “I don’t know (what happened).”

Fields said nothing when asked if she had anything to tell the boy’s family, and replied “Yes” when asked if she cared about little Anthony.

Marta Delgado, 25, left her son with Fields and went to take care of details for her move into a new apartment, police said.

Fields was sent to Rikers Island after entering a plea of not guilty pending a March 21 court date. She has nine previous arrests on her rap sheet.

Police said Fields was high at the start of their interview, which began Sunday and continued for another two days, until she was charged.
